About Black Diamond Journeys
Black Diamond Journeys has been started by two long time friends, Slovenian Goran Valic and Dirk Neuhaus from Utrecht, combining more than 30 years of experience in travel and event organization. Crisscrossing Europe while organizing events for multinational sponsors since 1988 gave us ample opportunities to visit, to meet and to get to know exciting places which can't be found so easily.
Through all these years we filled up our data bank with hundreds and hundreds of places which can deliver unforgettable experiences, but are not well known to the general public; that means we can fulfill almost all requests made by friends of Black Diamond Journeys.
Our passion for travel to lesser known destinations, to places with a lot of charm and excellent service, to meet and befriend owners or management teams, with love for tasting good local food and wine, to enjoy local areas and sights they offer, made us want to share it with like minded people who would enjoy it all just as much as we do.

We have been designing company retreats with multinational brands for decades. We’re often awarded the opportunity to integrate our organizational skills with one of our great passions, sport; proudly organizing national tournaments and world-wide games. In all of our efforts, we strive for perfection. Our team has also been involved in the evolution of snowboarding and beach volleyball events since the early 90’s.
